The board of Miami Beach Pride did not want to let two years go by without a pride celebration, so they are producing the 2021 event from September 10-19, but fret not it goes back to their original dates in April for 2022. There are tons of events happening over the 10-day celebration, and below is a listing of some of the major ones.

Friday, September 10

Pride Lights the Night Flip the Switch Event at 1111 Lincoln Road at 7:30pm

Saturday, September 11

The Kickoff Party is Sweet Spot: Miami Beach Pride Edition from 5-11pm. Sweet Spot Confectioners of Joy and two of Miami’s favorites, Deanne and Pride will be pumping a joy-inducing blend of modern and classic house, vintage jams and nu-disco flavor. The award-winning LGBTQ icon, Singer/Songwriter/Producer/DJ Ultra Naté will be joining the Sweet Spot duo as special guest DJ to bring her brand of house music deliciousness and flavor to the party. Set off by a 360° panoramic view of Miami Beach on the stunning new Palomar Hotel rooftop (1750 Alton Rd), a Miami sunset on full display, exciting performances, electrifying dancers and an eclectic blend of house music lovers and party people, this Miami Beach Pride Week kick-off event is certain to create a VIBE that is too SWEET to miss. General Admission: $35 in advance and $40 at the door. VIP Experience: $100 (access to VIP lounge with unlimited Tito’s, Jack and other cocktails). Sunday September 12
Kick-off pool party at the playful oceanfront oasis, The Confidante Miami Beach (4041 Collins Ave). Ticket Holders can take a dip, indulge in tasteful bites and cocktails (available for purchase) from The Backyard poolside bar and revel in daytime sounds by DJ Ralphi Rosario with an opening set by DJ TONYYNOT. VIP ticket holders will have access to the exclusive VIP DJ Lounge at the Carmen Miranda Ballroom Terrace overlooking the pool deck with light bites and unlimited Tito’s cocktails. For a more extravagant, retro-glam experience, group cabana or bungalow tickets are available. Cabana reservations include access to the VIP lounge, a bottle of Tito’s with mixers, lounge seating, food and beverage service and towel service for up to six people with access to VIP DJ Lounge and unlimited Tito’s cocktails. Bungalow reservations include Tito’s bottle service, a dedicated pool attendant, food and beverage service and towel service for up to 10 guests with access to VIP DJ Lounge and unlimited Tito’s cocktails. The spacious and private built-in bungalows offer plush seating, large HDTV, a safe box, phone charging ports, a fan and a mini fridge.

Monday, September 13

Pride Flag Raising Ceremony at Miami Beach City Hall at 5pm; Free

Queer Art Showcase

They are producing an immersive art experience by local LGBTQ+ artists in an effort to grow, promote and increase the visibility of South Florida queer artists to educate and develop meaningful interactions between artists and community attendees. Women, BIPOC and LGBTQ+ disabled artists are under-represented and are encouraged to apply.

Presented to the general public for free from 7-10pm, at the glamorous Eden Roc, designed in 1955 by famed architect Morris Lapidus. The event will include photography, paintings, a book-reading and a workshop on self-publishing and will feature the work of Askenaxi, Jose Blanco, Jonathan Brooks, Leslie Cohen, Leslie Anne Frye-Thomas, Junior Jimenez, Chris Ochoa, David Sexton, Elias Smith, Julian Uquillas and more. Come celebrate the art of the South Florida queer community. All proceeds of art sales go directly to the artist. Buy some art and enjoy an affordable range of bar bites and crafted beverages at the cash bar while enjoying a fabulous live playlist by DeeJay Smeejay.

Tuesday, September 14

The Miss Miami Beach Pride pageant. Come witness this unforgettable event as Florida’s fiercest queens, diva it out to compete for the prestigious title of Miss Miami Beach Pride from 6pm to 12am. This incredible lineup of ladies will be put to the test, as they showcase their hottest outfits, outrageous stunts and show-stopping performances live on stage. There will be six categories the contestants will be judged upon including Presentation (Show Your Pride), Swimwear, Evening Gown, Questions and Answers and Talent. Hosted at Miami Beach’s Faena Theatre, this night of glamour will also showcase jaw-dropping performances from former Miss Miami Beach Pride winners, including our reigning queen, Estephania St. Lords. Thursday, September 16 

Legends Ball – Serve Strut and Sashay all night to the throbbing beats and melodic vibrations of the ballroom voguing scene at Miami Beach Pride’s inaugural vogue event.  This will be an all-encompassing homage to our South Florida ball community and vogue aficionados. They invite ALL houses local, national and international to join them for this epic display of ball culture taking place at 8pm at 1235 Washington Avenue. Legends Ball will feature a lavish line-up of celebrity guest judges including the iconic nightlife impresario Susanne Bartsch, and will be hosted by Jason Rodriguez from FX’s smash hit POSE where he plays Lemar Wintour. Friday, September 17

VIP Gala at 1235 Washington (Formally Mansion Nightclub) from 7-10pm

Dress to impress at this elegant signature event hosted by iconic American television personality, actor, and designer Carson Kressley. Superstar iconic fashionista Adora will be spinning tunes while featuring jaw-dropping surprises, special celebrity guests, an open bar and delicious passed hors d’oeuvres. This red carpet affair is a celebration for our cherished community members who show their pride all year long! Tickets are $150.

Jake Resnicow’s Secret Garden

Get lost in the urban oasis: The Secret Garden. Indulge in the forbidden fruit or get struck by Cupid’s arrow and find the Adam to your Steve. Music by Dan Slater (Australia) + Danny Verde (Italy). Prepare for a multi-sensory experience as they immerse you in music, art, and love.

Saturday, September 18

Festival Day 1 starts at 12 noon.  Nowhere is the spirit of Pride and enthusiasm more apparent than during the extraordinary two-day Festival in Lummus Park, Miami Beach. Guests can enjoy music and performances from world-class DJs, entertainers and celebrity entertainers on two stages along with vendor booths, food, and a finale of fireworks.

Sunday, September 19

Parade Starts at 11am at Ocean Drive from 5th to 15th Street featuring former American professional football player and Voice contestant Esera Tuaolo as their Advocate Marshal and the Chairman and Chief Creative Officer of iHeartLatino and a parade of 50+ floats and walking participants is sure to be a delight for all ages.

Festival Day 2 starts at noon and features the same Pride Amenities as day.

DANCE STAGE Features DJs Hex Hector and Cindel. 

POP STAGE Features – DJ Guy Scheiman, Bentley Jones *Virtual*, Crystal Waters, Celebrity Cruises Show, Host Latrice Royale, Latrice Royal Show, DJ Tracy Young, Walk The Moon and Closing Fireworks.

Jake Resnicow’s Sunday Pool Party – Heat!
