World AIDS Museum and Educational Center (WAM) and Galleria Fort Lauderdale are collaborating to honor World AIDS Day with two public events designed to raise awareness and voices in unison for global health! From today through December 10, the public is invited to view a portion of the AIDS Memorial Quilt which portrays powerful stories of activism, love, healing, hope and remembrance to connect the story of HIV/AIDS to the important issues impacting our nation, today. The City of Aventura presents Michael Londra’s Celtic Yuletide today at 8pm at the Aventura Arts and Cultural Center. The Irish singer and Emmy nominee who is best known as the voice of Riverdance on Broadway, brings “Christmas from Ireland” to South Florida.
