Yes, contenders can be nominated in all relevant categories upon approval. If my business and/or I’m interested in sponsoring a Subcategory or Category, but the Subcategory/Category has already been taken. What options do I have? (Do we want to provide this option?)

If a Group or Category is reserved, consider an option that is relevant to the audience voting in this category. [internal use only, wording will change once confirmed.] For instance, ABC Mexican Restaurant located in Mount Pleasant wants to sponsor the Mexican Restaurant category, but this has already been reserved. Consider the category Sponsorship for Best Margarita or Mount Pleasant Restaurant instead.
